I was stuck in PC for a week and booked this hostel randomly online and as it happens I think I made the best choice of all the hostels in PC. The location was second to none- 2 minutes to the subway, eateries, shops, gyms, banks/ATM’s, bars etc while being on a quiet side street in a safe area. The pool was also a godsend to counter the midday heat and the staff were great. Pound for pound I think it’s the best hostel in PC.
I stayed there for a couple of weeks. The owner was very explanatory on my questions that i had to the city. With her clear-minded - preciseness she gave me great recommendations on where to go out , which places to visit as well as the romantic places to see before the sun goes down. Facilities were super clean and the people that i met there literally changed my life with their experiences. Metro is 2 minutes 45 seconds , panama city the center 13 minutes by uber or taxi. Super safe location with a lot of eateries around it and this place is a precious jem. Got the best days of my life and of course i won't forget one specific night where i had so much fun in the city and thanks god i didn't end up with a tiger like the movies. I was there only one night but it s worth it to spend few words about this little jem in central area of PANAMA City. The feeling as soon as you get it is of tranquility and you are immerged in a micro jungle, thank to the tropical trees and vibrating colorful paintings on the wall, awesome jaguar! The common area is very nice and comfortable, hammocks, sofas, chairs, the books, a piano, everything has a particular touch of design of recycling art! Go Green!!! The owner a french young woman, Tiphaine, is passionate with her place and you can feel it everywhere, she gave me an upgrade for free, cause it was just possible!! my room in the Boca's Building has everything I needed, even more! Big flat screen and A/C, comfortable bed and 4 pillows, the shared bathroom was even bigger
We visited Zebulo Hostel in ferbruary 2020 from Germany. It's a very good hostel with private rooms, you can reach Metro very close, supermarkets are quiete near and you can use Uber or Taxi from the airport. The owner cares are lot and help you if you have any question. You meet other travelers, rooms are clean and it is centrally located. Very lovely hostel =)
